One of the works attached to the presentation of the new proposal for the “Torre del Puerto” Hotel was the creation of various visualisations using photographic cameras equipped with 360º angles from different points in the city to show its visual relationship with the urban surroundings, especially its adjacent references with the Farola del Puerto and the multiple high-rise buildings in the La Malagueta neighbourhood, taking into consideration the distances between them as the main concept of its visual perspective. When these distances are cancelled out, errors of scale are produced that deform this reality, giving rise to manipulated graphic montages that lack the technical rigour required by visual perspective, and which, moreover, do not even coincide with the proposal presented. For this reason, and with the aim of warning and clarifying the confusions produced by these actions, these visual relations of the new Tower proposal are exposed by means of photographic precision systems in order to justify its location and presence in the urban landscape of the Port and the City.
